i'm looking see how other people work multiple monitors. pros, cons, tools use, ect.
don't need explanation lengthy mine, btw.
i'll start:
i've got 1080p 23" acer monitor, , plug 13" macbook air via hdmi.
text on 23" monitor blurry because of sort of issue os x. windows side fine. i've been told if switched dvi cable fix issue. able up? ever had problem? there cons using dvi cable on hdmi cable?
use apple wireless keyboard, , old wired dell mouse. i'm hoping wireless mouse though.
downloaded app secondbar, gives me menu bar both displays. use bettertouchtool (i figure many of use this) , bettersnaptool. 3 made same developer: http://blog.boastr.net/?page_id=79
it'd nice have dock on both sides, doesn't seem possible.
far monitors... well... 13" mba , 23" acer monitor side side, it's hard read things comfortably on air. because of this, pretty put "extras" on screen. example, music, finder windows, menus 3d modeling.
yeah, that's it. guys?
at work use dual 17 inch dell monitors. run 6 dev sessions on 1 email, dev session , misc utilities on other.
no cons me pros. can minimize several sessions , put them in portrait across screen. feel having go single monitor negatively impact productivity.
