i playing around garageband on new ipad

i want put 30-pin dock extender cable on apple hdmi adapter, heavy, non-flexible hdmi adapter—and 2 cords connected it—aren’t hanging off ipad directly (taking strain , pulling loose).
not normal usb ipad cable; male-to-female cable this; in between ipad , hdmi adapter:
however, extender cables have tried (qvs , xtreme) fail connect hdmi video signals. work charging , synching, , maybe audio (like connect ipad iphone speaker dock). not video. ipad doesn’t detect hdmi connected.
i’m guessing saved cost not connecting 30 pins.
can recommend dock extender cable connects signals? in advance!
can see strain i’m trying avoid—the apple adapter have near flexible shown here, , pull loose in real life, thick hdmi cable hanging off it:

i loaded 10.7.3 black macbook, cannot use lion's aht. had connected through wireless , ethernet. tried booting d held down, , opt & d pressed. thought once loaded lion access aht through internet. previous owner did not have grey os disk when purchased macbook.

through problems mobile me have ended 3 versions of address book, on mobile me, iphone , macbook. spent day trying resolve tech support still struggling.
of support merged contacts on mobile me , iphone. problem came merging data address book on mac. when import replaces data rather merging it. know merging mean end duplicate entries rather have data on computer can manually go through organize , force sync mobile me.
support suggested using vcards way of merging data. had of macbook address book synced mobile me meant address book had merged data iphone , mobileme. exported abbu file , vcards. have versions of data each source abbu files, group vcards , individual vcards. want import of macbook address book can edit , create master copy. want duplicates can review data. problem trying import group vcard causes crash. when try , add individual vcards, though select option keep both cards, merges duplicate cards don't want do.
hope makes sense! hope can come solution!

apple has posted new feature on site promoting countdown 25 billion downloads app store.users can enter promotion either purchasing/downloading app app store or filling out entry form. contest winner individual either downloads 25 billionth app determined apple or submits alternate entry form after 24,999,999,999th app download, whichever comes first.
apple has run similar promotions in past, identical 1 ten billion app store downloads taking place on year ago , 1 ten billion itunes music store downloads coming in february 2010. earlier promotions occurred @ 1 billion song , app marks , @ 100 million song milestone.

so, running ichat, on os x lion 10.7.3. these problems have been here while, though (i got comp 10.7.0). have aim/gmail/yahoo connected..
1 problem issue of non-authorized people. there list of "not authorized" people have scroll past in "offline" section of ichat buddies before real offline contacts. big note here: these people have address (something)@aol.com. these contacts have come result of gmail connection. see, few months ago gmail , aim did chat unification process @aol.com contacts can added gmail chatting. these @aol.com copies come asking invite when real aim address person talks me. invites leave once press decline, stay on list not authorized. if delete these "not-authorized" copies, invites come again , cycle repeat.
second problem video/audio chat in general. issue applies on aim/yahoo—there nothing gmail because people use web interface doesn't work ichat video/audio. if people used google talk, issue written below come up.
see, happens that…video/audio chat broken, simple that. contacts tell me error has occurred when trying accept video chat invite. doesn't work. using aim desktop in cases. when did used work (to limited extent, i'll say; hit or miss earlier, it's miss), video no audio. see/hear me, see them. when did audio chats, hear me, i..don't hear them (so audio chats pointless). case problem doesn't happen it's mac mac, ichat ichat. limited in use of audio/video chat, if ask me.

battery time depends on cpu usage, watching flash videos or playing flash games example cpu intensive.

hello,
mbp 4 years old, , had battery replaced when 1 1/2 years old. in recent months has begun show definite signs of wearing out, have hesitated replace due cost, , figured i'd deal being tethered power source more i'd to.
couple of days ago, noticed computer whining , getting hot when wasn't doing anything, except firefox running. last night, browsing unplugged - not downloading or running video or music - browsing. , before knew (like in half hour), battery down 26%. same thing happened morning.
have widget called istatpro, shows running process called directorys..., that's consistently taking 92-96% of cpu usage (see right side of attached screenshot), running around 50%.
question is: seem battery issue, or there else going on? how track down problem?
