Installing QUCS on Snow Leopard

hello

i'm using macbook pro 1 month (i have never worked before), , need install qucs (quite universal circuit simulator), because need college. tried download version 0.16 (package) sourceforge, , installation finished good, when try run applications, icon appears in dock few seconds, , after bouncing disappears, , message "qucs quit unexpectedly". installed qt3 , x11, still cant run it.

has installed successfully? not want install windows or linux, use qucs on mac os.
