Display Problem

happy easter!

ok, started imac yesterday, , display kept flashing, restarted computer , fine thought nothing of it, until last night while working, backlight , died blackness...i still tell screen on because saw faint light when switching screens...so dragged cursor top right corner (hot corner display sleep) , turned display of , clicked mouse , worked fine again...and again, thought nothing of it...today, same thing happened...now i'm thinking of lol. wondering if had ideas might causing this? , of course applecare runs out in month...

 

do plan buy further apple care, unless don't mean 2011 imac in sig?

check console hints.
