Advice needed: Running an ipad & iphone on the same apple ID

hi all,

have ordered new ipad family device , trying weigh pros , cons of using existing apple id on ipad well.

using same apple id sounds best way go @ first (photostream, buying apps once devices etc), there little things bit wary of. example:

1) ipad whole family. if im texting mates on iphone via imessage texts show on ipad?, dont want happen friends may use language wouldnt want 8yr old daughter reading.

2) facetime, if calls me via facetime how know whether come through ipad or iphone?

3) when ipad icloud backup eat existing cloud storage space or ipad have own allocated amount?

4) app notifications pop on ipad iphone?

aside above there else should consider havent thought of?

in advance advice may have

 

you can use same apple id store purchases, make different icloud account each device.
