My Macbook is Sick!

my 2009 macbook pro (13') sick. it's having problems booting - slow. it's having problems displaying graphics , layouts on web browsers (firefox , safari) i'm getting links , text when using multiple tabs. i'm having restart repeatedly throughout day , when i'm away , screensaver starts takes forever "turn on" or display login screen. ran verify disk disc utilities , got error message:

disk needs repaired. start computer disk (such mac os x installation disc), , use disk utility repair disk.

i'd happy oblige, running os x lion , know, download. not possess installation disc. i'm new forum desperate. use macbook consults clients, etc. , need healthy!

ideas on how fix it? know can installation disc free? folks can give me appreciated.

you don't need disc if use lion. should have automatic recovery mode. start command , r key held down. read apple doc.
