i trying simple. in 1 column (column b) have list of words. add list regularly list gets long. each time add words bottom of list column sort put words in alphabetical order.
wanted see words (or many possible) in 1 screen view did following;
in contiguous columns, columns c through j (and continue add columns needed) have used simple reference formula, (i.e.) in cell c1, put in formula reference =b1, in c2, reference =b2. through 50 rows , go d1 , continue reference starting =b51 , continue copy formula down sheet row 50, , go next column , start =b101 , continue. have done 7 rows far.
here problem. sort of column b works fine , words have added bottom of list fall place alphabetically. cell references formula don't pick new words , in fact cell contain words cell reference formula have been skip in sequence ofcell references. if new added word sorted b65, =b65 cell reference in column d missing in sequence of cell references in column.
find trying simple numbers not react excel (which used to). doing wrong?
