first, let me start off , thank forum helping me starting plan purchase months ago. first iphone, , wanted exhaust every single search , bulletin board out there information get.
there many concerns fact on sprint network , data issues pretty bad. but, existing sprint customer decent voice , okay data service on blackberry curve, felt little need change - because sprint gives 14-day money guarantee device. so, figured if wasn't happy, have 14 days give , else.
things: data speed great. no problems pandora streaming either @ work or @ home, or on commute between 2 (about 20 minute commute). apps fast , responsive. blown away how simple os compared previous phones. setup relatively easy. battery life considering how i'm using it. voice quality outstanding. space remaining on 16gb iphone - plenty of room pictures. camera great.
not things: had rough time bringing contacts on berry iphone. bb deactivated when activated iphone, wasn't able use google sync. ended having hardwire bb desktop , using microsoft outlook copy contacts over, import contacts via itunes. had second time wife's phone. initial wifi sync took long time, expected. hp printer old iprint. wondering if there way print pdf. i'll have later.
things make me "what?!": ringtones annoying, having open song in audacity, crop it, , resave in aac format, change file extension .m4r ... annoying since used able pick song on bb , tell ringtone.
long story short, very, pleased purchase. i'm no stranger apple's kool-aid, can't figure out why took long come onboard. fantastic device. sprint service great @ location (northern nj near nyc).
after first day @ work, it's tremendously powerful. able wanted , more. hooray!
