What does it mean by this? For battery using.

in apple.com, writes this:
"for proper maintenance of lithium-based battery, it’s important keep electrons in moving occasionally. apple not recommend leaving portable plugged in time. "

mean "you should use battery more", or tell "battery calibration"?

it means shouldn't run plugged in time. every few days should unplug , run on battery power few hours, keep battery exercised. built-in batteries in newer mac unibody notebooks come pre-calibrated , do not require regular calibration removable batteries.
