Credit card number got stolen, do you think this is related?

hi guys,

when purchase online ssl lock , check security certificates. shop online lot.

today, avoid late payment on medical bill (it arrived today, due tomorrow) logged in bills website, noticed there no ssl or security certificate, , against better judgement sent payment info anyway.

5 hours later chase calls unauthorized purchase on card in new york.

i'm no expert on internet security wondering if thinks may related?
