purchases new apple tv 2 in late january. set up. streamed video itunes fine. netflix slow, kept buffering, though same content through same wireless network worked flawlessly on ipad , iphone in exact same location. stopped working, after soft , hard reset. returned best buy , replaced. new unit started out fine, however, asked update software , did. died after flawless streaming of netflix. have done resets, etc. screen shows usual menus, curser not advance , not respond. seems highly unlikely 2 different units have same problem. perplexing how user error cause unit crash. have solution or @ least, explantation?

have few atv's 1& 2 @ home, have run atv1's hot enough fry egg yet worked many years.
atv2 hardly gets warm, repeated component failure unlikely in both devices. maybe live near agricutural facility ?- (they contribute many kilovolt plus noise spikes on 120/220v mains might degrade tiny smpsu in atv)
did upgrade 4.4.4?
have dect/digital household mobile phone basestation plugged in near atv or gigabit ethernet home mains wiring transmitter,
atv connect apple router? @ 2.4ghz or @ 5ghz??
