iTunes size differences?

on pc, itunes 820gb.

on mac (with itunes on external 1tb hd), drive shows 960gb used, media still 820gb. 140gb being used? run out of space , need figured out.

also, how go moving itunes onto os hard drive, while leaving tv shows on external? possible? cannot move entire library onto os drive size 500gb.

 

also, should external formated osx journaled or fat32/exfat?
