Issues with rewind/fast forward

finally got atv2 jailbroken xbmc i'm having issues rewind , fast forward using remote. friend using harmony remote, said works i'd remote working. i've tried holding menu button while streaming side panel menu, when try fast forwarding there time moves ahead when hit play continues , doesn't go ahead.

solutions? else have problem?
