Steam wireless settings

steam works both mac , windows partition when hooked via ethernet not when try connect wirelessly. internet fine ports must blocked when using wireless. have imac 10.6 connecting cube 10.4 original airport card. it's not router since works when hardwired. on settings change of great help.
