do need 3rd party spyware/virus scanner?
i've been using windows since touched computer in 1996: , i've had share of viruses/spyware.
literally 10 minutes ago got trojan (and didn't download anything, happen on mac???) virus scanner auto detected!
currently there zero viruses affecting mac os x in public circulation, there other kinds of malware existing, can infect mac.
long don't install software unknown , untrusted sources, safe, malware needs administrative permissions run successfully, means, need install malware yourself, can't install (one of reasons, why mac os x virus hasn't appeared yet).
