Problem with external screen. Cant always find.

simply title says: macbook pro doesnt detect external screen. i've tried restart it, disconnect external stuff, "find screen", etc etc.

know loads of people have had problem before. what'd do?

 

what exact mbp exact mac os x version have, exact external screen model , exact adapter use connect mbp external screen?
