Which eye do you use to look through the viewfinder?

which eye use through viewfinder, on brand , why?
pros cons?

use left eye means have hard time using buttons while holding camera eye, can eye closer viewfinder, , see better.

edit: accidentally wrote right instead of left.

 

i through left keep right eye open - odd way of doing it, helps me frame picture better.
