Drobo and Streaming from Airport Extreme = SLOW!

well i've had setup week or 2 , it's working great, except speed. since put media onto drobo connected airport extreme, it's incredibly slow streaming hd movies , such.

i'm not looking or expecting blazing fast performance, enough can play media without lag.

ran xbench test on hdd , below. have thought i'd better out of setup. have 3 partitions setup, 1 media , other 2 tm backups else works great.

i'm thinking should go simple raid1 setup when had single sata hdd hooked airport extreme router via usb , great, couldn't have on single drive.

drobo redundancy, not speed.

reviews , user impressions on net reflect sentiment. needless say, picked 1 of worst combination streaming.
