without going detail , boring death i've had misfortune of having several bad iphones in row. because of i've swapped in neighborhood of 5 phones out various reasons.
while of has been going on, keep randomly losing contacts in icloud , they'll erase phone. else having issues this, or i'm wondering if somehow phone swaps causing issues (no clue why would..).
have lot of work contacts can't afford lose, before turn icloud on figured i'd ask guys if that's normal or not.

i go little further down list of forums here , check out icloud forum. answer question, have had same issue you. it's enough not sync through icloud. until apple gives me choice of i want "master" list, not using icloud.
