Confused on ATT grandfathered unlimited plan

guess ihad wrong friend has had att unlimited data since day 1 of ipad 1.

had no issues when ipad 2 came out still has unlimited 3 g att data.

found out tonite can not att unlimited lte?(for new ipad)

there no grandfather 3 g unlimited data plan lte.

had lose unlimited plan since did want att lte.

wanted check real sure no 1 has unlimited att lte?

you go settings of new ipad (cellular data), log in , transfer account over. yes, unlimited lte.
