Need help with Motion tracking and behaviors for film

i have little experience motion, seeking accomplish take shot have panning across front of movie theater sign showing current movies out, , edit shot own custom title theater sign shows different text put in. now, if overlaid title of original words beneath might still show, i'm thinking might fit generator on original text , motion track custom title on top of it, there 2 layers, both motion tracked. found pages on subject apple feedback fellow users/editors detailing how go process. motion 5 , fcp x here. suggestions & info.

 

first: hope did not pan far. otherwise, going have significant 3d movement happening sign. motion can 2d tracking, fine many things might fail (i.e. unrealistic) extensive camera movement. in case, need 3d match moving tool. if so, let know , we'll point out some.

second: if have mastered tracking simple text , annoyed background, can create complete sign (background , text) in graphics programm , have tracked in motion. unless want text animated in way...

third: absolutely not motion expert, can remember there simple way motion track several objects or layers single path:

select source footage , choose behaviours->motion tracking->analyze either library tab or directly "behaviours" button little cogwheel above timeline. can add multiple tracking points high contrast , analyze motion. have track attached original footage.

create sign background , text. both layers, add tracking behaviour selecting each 1 , choosing behaviours->motion tracking->match move library tab. assign source of match moving analyze path created earlier. select match move of object , switch behaviour tab in inspector. not create new tracker , analyze motion again, rather choose created tracking path source. so, either choose path small cogwheel next "source" property of match move, or drag , drop said path small window next source.

said, don't have huge experience motion, worked me. oh, found simple youtube tutorial on kind of motion tracking:

fourth , maybe simplistic: put text , sign background in same group , have whole group move background. haven't tried it, i'm pretty sure trick.

hope menu entries usable (my version of motion german, can't check...) , some.
