SOLVED: Windows 7 BSOD after bootcamp drivers install

mp hexcore 2010 w/ 5870 & 6870 12gb ram, os x lion -- latest bootcamp drivers

installed latest bootcamp drivers in previously-working windows 7 install.

started getting cache_manager bsod... restarted twice , got same error twice in row.

looked @ log dump , couldn't find suspicious.

last time used apple's bootcamp drivers 2009 , remember having ton of problems applehfs because had lot of hard drives , apple software raid. noticed errors having gigabit card.

booted safemode w/networking, went windows/system32/drivers , deleted applehfs , applemnt.

went device manager , had windows "auto update" gigabit drivers.

far no problems. can't believe apple still hasn't figured problem out.

same problem 2007 macbook pro, boot camp 4, , windows 7 32 bit.

apple bootcamp drivers installed on updated win7 system cause bsod on boot, every time. worked around by:
* install win 7 through bootcamp assistant, don't install bootcamp-specific drivers
* bring win7 date (all updates)
* create restore point (to little safe)
* install bootcamp drivers
* boot os x
* install tuxera ntfs
* rename applehfs.sys applehfs.sys.old
* boot windows
* should stable; 1 loss there's no access mac partition anymore
* create restore point

in situation, applemnt.sys isn't problem far. , leaving bootcamp.exe run @ launch in msconfig.exe stable.
