What is the benafit for high resulotion MBP ?

isn't 1440x900 enough 15" , 17"?

know higher resulotion bad watching videos.

asked because 2880x1800 rumor appear.

 

benefit sharper, though i'd it's debatable it's needed. can see how benefits things iphone , ipad because of how use them, don't put laptop screen right face.
