Simple iPad app

hi. i'm trying make simple ipad app (my first). don't know this, i'm turning online tutorials (mostly youtube @ moment). it's hard find tutorials xcode 4.2 seems have changed since 3.

i'm trying make app plays interactive video. video plays litte, pauses until click on item , make continue. it'll pause again , continue process.
so, thought best way set have these separate files , possibly picture paused hidden button on image. looking tutorials main way mediaplayer followed tutorial , made simple video plays on button press.

problem loading , play/pause buttons appear. plus top bar appears briefly. so, i'm looking little starter advice. mediaplayer best way go , continue or there better way should into? don't want create whole thing using mediaplayer.framework find out terrible way , it'll never work.

advice/help.

 

mpmovieplayercontroller has property, controlstyle, can set mpmoviecontrolstylenone.

if you're using mpmovieplayerviewcontroller, can reference player mycontroller.movieplayer.
