MBP or iMac?

hey everyone, getting mac product first time. used during college next fall. don't know on buy.

love portability , powerhouse of mbp.although, don't take current laptop anywhere , use desktop. , i've been told people never use laptops @ class. , think putting stress on laptop various games. non of these should intense.

fact of big screen on imac. haven't checked specs lately bet nice! how imac never hot(like laptop). idk think have thing mbp reason.

if guys give me pros , cons of each amazing! thanks! , wrote pretty fast on iphone sorry typos.

 

i prefer having imac @ home , ipad use on go, that's me. have 12" hp windows 7 laptop provided me job buying laptop wouldn't worth it. enjoying having larger screen imac @ home, have weigh pros , cons. might add buy low end 21.5" imac , ipad complement same price 15" macbook pro.
