My screen suddenly started looking blurry in the center area.

i have mid 2011 27" imac.

using system , big spot near center of screen started making hard see, , makes within area, blurry.

can do? there way fix this? humidity? hadn't used system 2 1/2 months. should employ applecare?

i have of these screen issues i've been reading on forum, i'm starting hesitant middle-of-the-year plans of purchasing imac refresh. i'm not @ interested in paying $2,000 computer that's going have messed screen in relatively small amount of time considering cost. not mention live in phoenix, is, put nicely, complete dust magnet of city. if therer isn't sort of reassurance refresh addresses this, may buy macbook pro , hook nice monitor.
