3rd party hack for bringing Spaces back for Lion?

agree. spaces issue has gone minor annoyance bothering me now. lion looks solid update , has lot of little tweaks make things better, 1 glaring step backwards making me not want upgrade @ all. i'm conflicted. spaces (sl style) integral how work done every single day. sigh...

@ first thought used it, convinced myself still same concept, linear. unfortunately more use more find other things taken out. example, move window different space quickly, grab (like you're going move it), , cmd-arrow on space want. space move in background , window come you. feature gone. "expose view" others have pointed out, exists in "mission control" form, functionally useless. full screen apps own "space" nothing in way , make harder reach real spaces. when running 2 (or more) monitors, switching spaces clears screen, puts windows back. it's getting more , more disheartening.

realize number of these changed/fixed before final version of lion, inevitably won't. really, expect them bring grid-view (not horizontal)? won't fit in mission control, therefore won't changed. apple stubborn way when think have idea. the best i'm hoping 3rd party hack lets restore sl-style expose , spaces. guess we'll see.

also, has been improved on lion? thing noticed mail app; looks more nice.
