No performance boost after SATA card upgrade in MDD?

hey guys,

popped in firmtek 1s2 pci sata card mdd. hooked 500gb laptop sata drive. not seeing performance boost though. same 61.2 xbench ratings!

ideas?

 

what's spindle speed on hard drive? size cache? depending on factors, increase in performance see negligible.
