Need some advice


hi

trying upgrade macbook ..... late 2007, macbook3,1.

@ present have 2 gb 667 mhz ddr2 sdram , 4gb - have lot of data fro uni. found 4gb sale. emailed seller has not got me in last few day. j

know if can use
4gb memory 2x 2gb 1333mhz ddr3 pc3-10600 ram

specs:

1333mhz
4gb (2 x 2gb)
brand: hynix (original factory memory)
ddr3 pc3
code stated on modules:
2gb 1rx8 pc3 - 10600s - 9 - 10 - b1

have been removed macbook pro 2011

wondering if okay computer?

no cannot use ddr3 ram....

need ddr2 ram - pc5300 (200 pin sodimms) , since have macbook 3,1 have ensure pc5300 - pny ram, although marked , sold pc5300, seems problematic , works in macbook...

try crucial or kingston ram or keep looking on ebay - ddr2 lot more expensive ddr3 though.
