Need help - dilema

ok have 27" imac january 2010 (i think) , upgraded ram has 12gb ram.

of apple cinema display, amazing , swap imac cinema display, have dilema of paying £2,000+ mac pro or getting new imac (this years top spec) , forgetting cinema display.

however, miss building own computers...so i:

1. buy brand new top spec 27" imac intel i7
2. buy apple cinema display , fork out £2,000+ low spec mac pro.
3. buy apple cinema display , build own computer , how connect two?
or.
4. build own computer , monitor cinema display - possible, recommendations monitor?

appreciated.

lastly, macpro easy normal desktop computer upgrade or apple make extremely difficult, other apple products?

as far know upgrade mac pro easy, if not more non mac alternative. (depending on want upgrade.

things easy upgrade in are:

hard drives (litterally, on tray pops out, put different hard drive in, , away go.

ram - again on special tray thing

pci cards - whack them in!

other things it's worth checking online.

personally, out of these options, go new 27" imac. love machine, , actual display panel (as far know) identical 1 in thunderbolt display.

if bothers imac not same cinema display, guess second best option mac pro + display.

anyway, if want donate old imac loving home, let me know
