Apple Test Advertisement when opening an App

i downloaded free app app store on ipad 2. when went open app, presented grey screen has words "test advertisement" white apple logo underneath. press on iad @ corner of screen takes me black screen has words "ipad test advertisement. confirms test ads running correctly" press "x" @ top left of screen opens app i've downloaded. have noticed happens when have wi-fi switched on. when switch wi-fi off, ipad test advertisement doesn't happen my app opens normal.

can tell me going on there? because have never had before.

please advice

 

i use iads in 1 of apps. sounds iad being displayed. iads take portion of screen, banner. sounds saying takes entire screen. suppose developer displaying banner in view covers entire screen. if strange design choice.

text describing represents iads shown during development. beyond control of developer, tell apple can display ad , apple supplies whatever apple chooses. app did not come app store described ads shown. entirely apple deliver development ad or real ads.

if app files have been corrupted perhaps apple not recognizing app having come app store. if have expected ios not let app run. maybe checks different. try delete app , downloading again.

of maybe developer submitted incorrectly built app, ad hoc version (for beta testers not app store) of app, etc , apple somehow let slip through. check developer's site or keep eye out update fixes this.
