Mac virus, router setting, or something else.....?

hi, i'm having problems accessing urls since isp suffered temporary outage last week. i've checked them , confirm there no restrictions on usage – suggested possibly virus.

reset router , things fine. sites i'm trying access not adult/illegal ones include regular sites. happens on safari , firefox alike. when accessing, redirected same page each time: http://www.blocked-website.com/ carries message "sorry, [website.com] blocked on network".

router setting can unblock or possibly virus? ideas do?

in advance!

[running power pc g5; os 10.5.8; safari 4.0.2 netgear dg834g router.]

it's not possible, no mac os x viruses exist in wild. don't need 3rd party antivirus app keep mac malware-free. macs not immune malware, no true viruses exist in wild can run on mac os x, , there never have been since released on 10 years ago. if practice safe computing, malware in wild can affect mac os x handful of trojans, cannot infect mac unless actively install them, , can avoided basic education, common sense , care in software install. also, mac os x snow leopard , lion have anti-malware protection built in, further reducing need 3rd party antivirus apps.

check dns settings reading: why being redirected other sites?
