so huge proponent of new ipad's screen being near perfect in grayscale/color temp/color accuracy etc.... , though still am, there seems wide variance (just tv's) in how calibrated factory.
sure of not have device accurate measurement. can (if like) try minimize variables, , compare way. , while "test" not show accuracy, "should" allow compare, , if yellow screen thing actual defect or not.
requirements of "test" first , foremost own 4s. our cameras have same.
download file below , play on ipad, advance 5 minute mark (where says 100%), 100% white test pattern (used grayscale calibration). oh , make full screen.
go in dark room (like bathroom lights off). set "brightness" 100% (remember turn auto brightness off). , take picture 4s (flash off).
again not comparing oddities 4s may produce, or if hold @ slight angle etc... (like how see picture looks uneven/spotty/etc... viewing eyes not close that).
oh , white apple logo in middle of screen reflection of 4s

i don't see how taking picture camera has automatic white balance ever going representative of eye see
