have iphone 3g in posession. belongs friend , managed drop in pub @ weekend twice. first time cracked screen , continued work, second time cracked screen little more , became unresponsive touch.
replacing screen him when buys replacement. however, in meantime has asked if possible retrieve contacts , photos. phone locked not register on pc until have entered pascode. however, phone unresponsive touch cant unlock data off. there way around this? if contacts.
appreciated.
btw - not have pc has no backup. once screen fixed wont issue have wait payday.
perhaps there way of being able enter passcode through pc?
the way data backed plug computer used activate it, or last computer run backup of it. computer doesn't need unlocked. it's when needs access itunes store first time needs pass code entering.
if bought second hand , activated needs go person bought , beg , plead plug machine.
backup stored in folder within itunes 'labyrinth' of folders , can taken off 1 pc , put onto backup can run machine, ever machine goes on still need unlocked can access itunes store (apart first 1 plugged is)
