Cheap protection for wrist area on 13" Air?

i'm pretty amazed can't find dirt cheap protect wrist area of mba 13" 2011 model.

found silicone keyboard skin/protector on amazon 83 cents shipped (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/b002tpl260/ref=oh_o00_s00_i00_details) can find wrist area $12 , up.

don't need fancy, prevent me scratching wrist area while wearing watch.

know of super cheap yet functional solution?

can't understand why companies bse charge through nose skins mba $8 mbp. seems charges as can hot item mba is.
