i've got first gen apple tv , have many mkv videos play fine on mac perian. however, want organise videos in itunes , have them pkay on atv without perian plugin.
downloaded subler , mp4tools , i've tried converting several mkvs , although work in itunes, don't on atv.
on atv movie loads , can hear sound, video stuck on first frame , after while atv crashes.
ideas?
download handbrake , convert mkv using atv2 preset. after that, drag , drop itunes. should play fine after that.
