i've saved 27-inch imac, i'm having second thoughts on getting 1 @ time. macrumors , overwhelming majority of users of forum saying "go ahead, changes newer model minor."
having browsed on all-in-one pcs, however, ask opinion on matter considering existing competition (http://www.theverge.com/2011/11/11/2553266/samsung-series-7-all-in-one-review) has seemingly better-value hardware current imacs, , upcoming products (http://micgadget.com/20208/this-lenovo-all-in-one-pc-is-what-apple-imac-should-have-done-video/) might influence features of upcoming imac models. mean, wouldn't apple think twice specs when brand coming out in next few months 27-inch multi-touchscreen device 8 gigs of ram , 2 tb storage $1300?
i have been using , building pcs years, wasn't until last year when got air replace dell laptop , has been best laptop ever. apple bought 27 imac 3 days ago , far glad did. speed great (i have 3.4 ssd) , works fine...my pc glitchy, yeah fast , miss i'm sure on that...i give imac try, can return within 14 days if have 'issues' or don't it.
edit: imacs more $ think worth in long run.
