I cant see the external optical DVD drive to install the Snow Leopard!

hello, trying install snow leopard os mba (10.5.2) using optical drive of imac (lion). moment power mba (with option button being pressed) after log wi-fi network, boot device see macintoxcv hard drive. mba's hard drive.

dont see optical drive of imac installation dvd inside. both in same wi-fi network , sharing on.
if log mba able remotely run dvd system says hard drive corrupted , need boot dvd , shouldn't worry because problem resolved during installation of snow leopard. cant boot dvd stated.. ideas?

reinstalling software using remote install mac os x v10.5 , v10.6​

with apple's knowledgebase/support site, have reload pages in browser, if don't load @ first.
