thinking purchasing either mac-mini refurb or macbook air refurb connect directly hdmi port on tv. know mac-mini better solution maybe long term thinking might want flexibility of macbook air in can use portably other reasons streaming tv. again, if have allow me stream content imac tv, set like?

use powermac g4 file , media server. got $30 off of craigslist. 1 got had 450mhz processor, 512mb of ram, , 7200rpm ide drive. after buying parts , accessories it, powermac server has 80gb 7200rpm ide boot/os drive, pci sata controller 1 1.5tb sata drive data storage (for files , media) , free sata port, gigabit ethernet pci card, , 1.5gb of ram. sweet machine, , useful in it's old age. need no hiccups on lan.
