i have seen other threads on similar topics haven't seen answer set of circumstances.
have fast internet @ business premises. have lowest speeds possible @ home. have imac in both places. each imac has 1 itunes account installed.
when try download app updates @ home can take 3 hours 1 finish. when in work takes few seconds 7 minutes. big difference!
want download updates @ work , bring them home.
tried doing copying mobile applications folder on external hard drive moving them on same folder on home imac. (i renamed original , kept it, added new ipas new folder called mobile applications.)
however. . . although ought have worked when went itunes still said had uploads download , looked new folder wasn't being taken equation.
@ point backed away carefully, deleted new folder , put renamed folder belonged.
theory right? should have worked? how make itunes see updates have been done?
i'd not have tie internet hours doing these updates when few minutes in work required.
help?
