Mac-Windows printing not working

hi,

have hp deskjet f4180 printer connected network via win vista home premium x64. have late 2011 macbook pro osx lion connects pc on wi-fi network. i've updated drivers printer on mac using software update, still doesn't work properly. question: can send jobs printer fine, when arrive @ windows, show having "n/a" or "0" pages, , printer ends hanging without printing pages or taking in paper. can do?

i got fed nonsense too. never got work reliably.

ended purchasing new printer wired/wireless built-in. option, if printer supports usb, use , aebs host, may cost more new printer.
