so ipad 3 @ 95% charge morning. played 'wheres water?' 2 hours , down 65%! brightness on medium. cannot head around this. experience im looking @ 6-7hr battery per day, ok that's enough ipad 2 (let's face it, totally different machine) gave me ~10hrs same usage patterns.
im going keep ipad 3 screen dimmer , use airplane mode when dont need signal. fact takes forever charge doesnt help.
hope apple improve power management (seriously down clocking cpu/gpu etc) next ios update.
retina nice seem paying hell of price on battery life. not expecting that.
my battery same, if not better, ipad2.
