Iphone 4 stuck on apple & spinning wheel

help! have iphone 4 worked until upgraded keyboard progam on cydia when suggested upgrade. when asked restart springboard, did , it's stuck on apple logo. every ten minutes spinning wheel comes on. i've tried holding down sleep , home buttons ten seconds, using itunes restore, , still nothing 40 year old mom of 5 , not 'techie" person,(quite proud of myself jailbreaking on own!) , appreciate , help! thank you!!
