Does iPhoto run equally well on iPad 2 and iPad 3?

arstechnica , others reporting ram in ipad 3 entirely display.
apps don't run better, smoother or faster ipad 2.

has seen side side of iphoto on ipad 2 , ipad 3?
lose @ (besides retina display) running on ipad 2?

getting refurb ipad 2 $150 cheaper , if don't care retina display, camera, lte ...... there reason 3?
