bought used iphone 3gs off of craigslist, , phone works, need make sure can signal...it's jailbroken , running ios 5.1, may unjailbrake if need be. i'd unlock if possible, before do want make sure can receive signal at&t first. don't plan on keeping phone actually, i'm trading friend want make sure works first of course.
phone isn't factory unlocked phone know of, , when tried using active t-mobile sim said "searching..." "no signal." nothing being wrong sim card or anything.
i've read reports of people using iphones gophones, kinda like, because want cheap way verify iphone in fact work before unlock (i'm on baseband 05.16.05, i've read need upgrade baseband unlock due fact 05.16.05 locked)
gophone plan possible? don't need data phone @ all. ability make 1 or 2 very short (less 30 seconds) phone calls.
