hi,
wondering how many people use pixelmator (pm) given attractive price. more importantly, find "critical" features missing compared pro programs photoshop.
background here: amateur photographer using dslr number of years shooting raw. take couple thousand photos year , less last couple years. take plunge , either lr or ap manage files , convert raw tif/jpeg/whatever. until using ps correct/adjust photos (i still on cs version way). use layers extensively clone/heal remove dust bunnies or stray soda cans in landscape pictures. use hdr every , ... since not cs version manually aligning 2 exposures , masking out unwanted parts. i'd use liquify tool. seems pm can open ps files ... can save ps file format?
know if people perhaps tried pixelmator , did not work them. why did not. or happy it. there feature missing (i know personal)?
know if people switched 1 way or , how files worked in other software.
try pm @ point when have bit more time, i'd information before that.
