hello new mac in november of 2011 decided needed replace desktop , after being happy iphone , ipad bought 27' imac , 2 days ago decided wanted macbook , purchased upgraded 13' macbook pro because wanted small , easy carry. question can expect , can link 2 computers share documents? can provide.

sharing files between 2 relatively simple, , there's number ways it:
1) on same network, setup shares on both machines (usually public folder), can move files back-and-forth, or 3rd machine (generally folks designate sort of "master" version control).
2) setup peer-to-peer network directly between machines, more of temporary type approach when you're outside network
3) use sharing service dropbox, has advantage of allowing access files outside network number of different devices (including ios).
