MBP won't turn on after plugging iPhone USB cable

hi. have month old macbook pro.
couple of days ago plugged in usb iphone charger while laptop asleep (lid closed) when tried opening it, wouldn't turn on. when plugged charger started blinking green/orange , laptop didn't respond or turn on. left couple of days , tried charging today, turned on , worked normally.
plugged in iphone usb without realizing problem in first place , laptop won't turn on , charger blinking same before.

tried both resets (smc/pram) still won't turn on.

idea issue or how turn on without waiting couple of days?

maybe mbp battery drained while phones plugged in? tried charging mbp?

btw didn't plug iphone charger in, used white cable synch phone mbp, right?
