Mac Mini >HDMI > Samsung HDTV colors washed out

hoping can point me in right direction. upgraded 2009 mac mini new one. using hdmi, colors washed out , off (greenish purplish) @ default 1360 x 1768. if pick 1 of other (like 720p) colors right resolution screwy. thoughts?

tell model of samsung hdtv. have 1 , had rename "hdmi" "pc" if remember correctly.
