Refurbishing iMac

hi

friend has asked me imac want buy, on internet, g5 imac, cost them £250 + vat, , have spare 1 kicking around @ home (never used) sell him!

there issues though, boots crashes, , have re-start (some times 1-2 hour) however, intend replace hdd, new , bigger one, , put more ram in? has asked advice buying? there else need refurbish it?

have 20inch core 2 duo imac well, not boot up, tried getting in take @ inside made difficult way apple have done casing! there specialist way of getting these machines? alternative re-do him, better both of us?

write because benefit making £20-30 on side , gets better machine, can trust
